About Me

Hi, my name is Jennifer, I am the artist behind Southern Belle Babies. I hail from the south, born and raised in Tennessee, then I met my wonderful husband, Michael, and have since lived in Baton Rouge Louisiana, and now in south central Mississippi. 
I live there with my husband, his mom and dad, and his maternal grandmother in a big house. We don't have any children, maybe one day, but right now we are enjoying our time together.
The one thing I love about Mississippi is that there is such a long growing season. You have time to grow all kinds of wonderful produce.

I am an artist. 
I paint blank vinyl doll kits to look like ultra realistic babies. 
 I have always loved babies and baby dolls from a very young age, so I was in love from the moment I saw my first "reborn" baby doll. I love being able to have a blank vinyl doll kit and create a work of art. This is one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done in my life and I am so blessed by this.

This creative outlet has been such a rewarding process.

My paternal grandmother is a sewer, crafter, ect... so it just kind of came naturally to me. I crochet very well and would like to, one day, create my own patterns. I am learning to knit, but haven't taken on challenging projects yet.

I love to sew, crochet, and do other crafts that I can learn and be challenged by them. 

I love Korean pop music, Kpop. I love Korean drama's, Kdramas. I am currently having a lot of fun learning Korean.

I love different languages, and while for now I am learning Korean, I plan to follow that with Japanese (because I LOVE reading/watching anime), I also plan to brush up on my Spanish, and then go from there.

I believe that we are here to love and support one another. I believe in Jesus Christ and His message of Love.

Love is our greatest gift that we can give one another.

I am pro-life, and believe that all life is precious. There is always another option.  

Photography is something that I am learning and getting better at all the time. The only thing that kills me is waiting for my pictures to upload on websites.

Did I mention that I LOVE anime? I really do, it is a fun way to escape into another world and use your imagination. 

I don't really think that there is enough time to list all the things that I love, but just sharing a few and maybe you can get an idea of who I am, what I am passionate about, and all that good stuff.
